Imacon Film Scanner
Buying film scanner is often the first step in transitioning from film to digital photography. I used a combination of an Imacon Flextight scanner and a Fuji Pictrography printer before going to a digital capture system.
For my money, the Imacon scanners are the best on the market. Aside from drum scanners, they produce the highest quality scans I've seen. I still use my Flextight scanner for my fine art photography and stock photography.
